Über die Stelle
YOUR TASKS
- Act as a key 3D CAD designer for core components of REM including generators, working closely within interdisciplinary R&D teams
- Design, develop and optimize active parts (magnetic and electric field–relevant components), including salient poles, high voltage bar windings and stator/rotor cores based on engineering input from electromagnetic, insulation, mechanical and ventilation experts
- Create precise geometry models to support advanced numerical simulations (CFD/CHT and FE) performed by calculation engineers
- Prepare high quality 3D models, technical drawings and complete Bill of Materials (BOM) for components used in development projects, prototypes and test rigs
- Collaborate closely with teams across R&D, engineering, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning to ensure robust, manufacturable and well-integrated component designs
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards, methods and tools
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed technical education (HTL, FH, Uni, or similar) in mechanical engineering
- Relevant professional experience
- Design and mechanical calculation knowledge in the field of large rotating electrical machines obligatory
- Good knowledge in 3D CAD – preferably Software Siemens NX, PLM – Software Siemens Teamcenter and MS Office
- Good command of German and English
- Willingness to travel (5%)
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
